I use Adams....what did ya get?

 

Nice, I like me some Adams. Use their detail spray and wash. Smells so good! Lol

 

Dash mount by ICS. Arm and phone mount by 67 Designs

 

Foam cannon, ultra suds, waterless wash, spray wax, wheel cleaner, tire shine, new pads and wash mitt. Trying the Graphene detail spray as well. Took advantage of the 25th Birthday sale going on now.

 

Thanks for the notice...just did some shopping.

 

Installed new stepsides this afternoon.

Added nerf bars with steps, splash guards/mud flaps, and a bed mat to mine today. Would have added the AVS vent shades but I broke/cracked the very first one when I attempted to put the window up, still don't know if it was me or the vent shade but maybe I'll try again later.

 

OEM Tonneau and @At The Helm axle dump. Very nice!

I had to drop the spare to get the resonator pipe out. I stuffed a 33 under there I think if it was the stock dinky spare I could have left it in.

 

Nice! I just pulled it straight out the back. Rotated it counter clockwise about 180°-270° came right out.

 

Took it out on the beach. I’m very impressed with how it handled the sand.

 

Did you air out your tires any? I will be driving on the beach at Freeman Park,NC in two weeks. I’m curious if I should bother airing down my tires too.

 

Yeah I aired down to about 17 psi. We went to Corolla, NC.

 

How did she do? I'll try to get mine to the. dunes in Michigan this summer.

 

It did awesome! Even when I hit soft areas on the beach, it just skated on top.

 

Your comment made me go out and look for something I had seen years ago in regards to Meguiar's products. I notice some of the same scents when using the local manual car wash; they are not as persistent as when you are using wax products in a garage, but still.... "luscious"!

Wait. What? You bought some Fast Finish just last year??? That product is easily 15 years old, if not closer to 20! Where the heck did you find it, and how much did you pay for it?

As for the aroma of our products, a lot of that started to change when our current VP of R&D joined the company almost 20 years ago. Interestingly, he came from the cosmetics industry and was initially surprised at how many ingredients used in automotive finish care are shared with cosmetics formulations (crazy, huh?) - but coming from that industry he is also acutely aware of how important smells can be to the end user, and so he started adding this into the mix.

We go to OBX every summer. I live in Raleigh. Not a long drive. We usually do two weeks.

 

Installed the OEM wider mud guards, bed cover and rear step.

 

That’s awesome! My sister is having a beach house built in Corova. We are down there all the time.
