    The bumper looks really good!

Were you guys at that boat ramp on QQ upstream from Altoona?

I would've let him but it was all mushy out there. Love his enthusiasm, though. lol. (When I told him to turn left on the road up ahead, he started turning immediately. Then when I said follow the road, he followed the road.)

He understands when you find the right way to say it.

    Thanks.

Yes. Creep. The boat landing.

They hauled the trucks and big sandpile out. That's why his arms are crossed in the 1st photo. He was hoping the sandpile was there.
The good news is, they left a big pit in the river that might be a good bass hole this summer.
The rest of the river is pretty shallow all around the landing. In some parts of summer you can only get so far upstream, on boat.

I thought I recognized the driveway.

I stopped there last year after checking out Big Falls. There was a guy there doing some kind of testing, and I talked to him for a bit. A few guys pulled up to launch a boat and spoke to me like I was an old friend. I was there for about 30 minutes altogether but it was such a pleasant experience!

That's nice to hear, visitors are treated well.

That's where some ladies pitbull lunged at me then slowly paced me backwards, until I felt forced to go into the water....knee deep in the river.
That wakes you up better than any Arbuckle's. lol

The high lift jack I was offered is a Torin Big Red.

After further review, it looks like the interwebs finds they are useful for pulling most shrubs, stumps, fence and mailbox posts.
Then I gathered loads of reviews saying they like to break when actually trying to lift a truck.

    Pass.

I found mine half buried behind the garage of our place when we bought it. Sat there for many years. After I bought the truck I dug it out to see what it needed. Still has the original paint and lettering... so I called HiLift. They got excited about is, so we had the kids repair it at school and made a short video. HiLift didn't comp the parts, but they did send a letter and stickers.

The stickers made it right.

One review of the Torin was a Jeep owner. Said it broke the 1st time he used it.

Give a man a chance, anyhow.

    Congratulations! That is awesome news.

Also, in the spirit of the group, the most expensive mod to date.

8+ hours of driving today. Went down to Minneapolis to pick up my daughter. "Had" to go to two different Platos Closet looking for something specific. Then home. At least it was sunny and beautiful. Forgot to eat... The "rage" comes on pretty hard with the hangries. I kept the finger contained but it was HARD. I do not know how you all do it in those dense urban environments. Fuckwits to the left, fuckwits to the right and all I want to do is be left alone and drive 80.

I could probably start a YouTube channel with my comments about other drivers. A dash cam to record the stupidity along with my road rage... I'm probably missing out on a goldmine here.
