No it just seems like you're insecure about your demo purchase. I didn't mean demos from the start and still don't mean demos. Managers do short term leases.

Not to shit on your parades. I’ve worked in 5+ dealerships and knew guys in probably 75+ over the course of 15 years. Never seen a manager “lease” a new vehicle for 3-6 months, ever.
95% of time dealership keeps it in inventory, marks it as demo status so they can write down the cost, and at 3-6k miles it gets put on the showroom floor and marked down to triple net 0 and sold as a new demo. It’s sold on an MSO, and warranty is started at date of purchase, not when the manager started driving it.
also never seen GM’s or new car managers beat the shit out of the vehicle. They have respect for the vehicle because they know it represents the dealership.

That's what I thought too, but if you read the posts on this forum there seems to be quite a few trading up every few years.

Nope. Love my truck and I’m out there enjoying it, what reason would anyone have to be insecure about it? This all started when I reminded you that demos are sold as new and they are. I’m not wrong. You could have said, “well, that’s true”and we’d have been done, but instead we have this. If in-fact the company employee leased it, then you are correct, but that would be titled and have a previous owner. Usually, they get demos on new cars.

My 2005 had 30-some miles on it. My 2024 had 6. I don't think it can get much lower than that.

Wow! Now that’s low. I usually buy used, and would never consider a Toyota as bad because an unknown person drove it before me, but in your case almost no one did.

That was exactly my experience. Was glad I got the chance to get money off of MSRP too, as some dealers want $5000 over.
