difficult to say since it has 120,000 miles on it. most will have over 200,000 that are that old. i don't really think its worth 9,000 even with low miles. I wouldn't pay more than 7,000 and would try to get lower than that. check autotrader to see what similar trucks are going for and as said above ^^^ check the KBB

Wow....price may be a little high but it sure looks clean!!

Make sure the Timing belt has been done for sure.

Could be one of those ''You get what you pay for" and be a fair price because it is amazing condition and low miles!

Then again it could have some issues....do your homework on this one

If it is a great truck....it will ge gone soon

Dealer is very aware of the "TACO cult following" with a price this high....but it will sell for sure

Thanks for the fast replies, I actually was a porter at at Toyota dealer for three years, so I am well aware of the frame issues as I was lucky enough to get to apply the coating to some of the ones that weren't replaced. I will have to check on the timing belt though.

KBB says around 5100 in excellent condition which I thought was on the low side, I was thinking between 6-7 would be a good deal?

6-7 would be a good deal (and fair price)if all is well with that truck

Truck looks very clean, but 9k seems WAY too much. I know these things hold their value like crazy, but the truck is 15 years old. I wouldnt pay more than 6500 for it, not to mention, if that vehicle was a trade in they probably only gave em 4g or so for it. Thats a lot of mark up. If that truck is worth 9k, a lot of newer 1st gens on here are worth a ton more comparable to the 96. But if ya like it I suppose thats all that matters. Good luck in your search

I actually checked, and it has a v6, not a 4cyl as I originally thought. KBB is 7500 for it in excellent condition. I think I am going to start at 6500 and go from there. Again, thanks for your help!!

Very smart man and nice find that thing is sure a beautiful truck! Print out the Blue Book Value, but just for comparison you need to print out the NADA on it as well just in case they say, "Well we don't use KBB we use NADA and you can say, Great I have it here!." $6,500 is a great price to start out and by showing the NADA which is what most dealers use it can be a powerful tool. Make sure you get it checked out by a mechanic, someone who doesn't work for that dealership.

Looks like a really nice truck! Check for rust, then offer low and see what kind of response you get then work from there. The times are hard for business owners especially auto dealers. Go for it!

I would be satisfied at like $6500. More than that seems like a rip.

They probably allowed too much on it for a trade in and are trying to get all thier money back.
