Just dug my John Deere push mower out of the garage. Not winterized or anything. Primed it, and fired up on the first try!
    ...Then cut the front yard

    And so it begins...:(

How did yours start this year?

Battery is charged on the table. We might get 2-4 inches of snow in the next day or two so i'll have to wait to start..

Mine is running bad, either bad and stale gas or the ethanol in the gas is causing the bad running. Going to change out the gas and get it going for the mowing season.

First pull...but I only put it away in late Nov and pulled it out in early Mar. I do need to figure out what is making it hunt....but the thick ass wet grass in NOLA might have something to do with...

2nd pull. (as usual) ;) 14th year on my Snapper rear engine and all I've done to it is change the oil, clean the air filter, sharpen the blade, grease some fittings and finally had to replace the clutch last summer. Knock on wood. :yay:

Craftsman with a Honda motor. Paid waaaay too much 6 years ago. But never done any engine maintenance and it always starts the first time. Lots of smoke first of the season but works flawlessly.

Started on the second or third pull. Bought my Snapper self propelled variable speed rear wheel drive in March 1993 brand new. Not bad considering it sat for over a year, put new gas in it and boom started. It"s been a really good mower, it looks like it"s only a few years old. I don"t know why I"m looking at new mowers though. I guess sometimes I"m not happy with what I have.
