Pond update! I was back at it today! Picked up more slate for the fountain but it was too cold to do anything other than get them here. They are unloaded on a pallet. So I went to pick up stones for the patio. I shoveled half a ton into the patio area and did my best to tamp it down with cinder blocks. Also threw in a quick border to keep the stones from running down the hill. Might be permanent since it likely won't be seen much, or I might put down some nicer pieces. :notsure:

The blocks in the last photo will go down in a pattern with new blocks. Just getting the sizing now.

Earth. I dug a bunch of it up when I was trying to level it, so it got all chopped up and moved around. But it got packed down again.

Thats OK right? I'm trying to do it the way I remember from when I worked at the construction place before.

Pond update. Patio is in. Fountain got a bit taller and the water is pouring down properly now. Still gotta figure out how I was to finish the top. Also added more acid to the water to bring the carbonated, hardness and pH down.

I think the patio might need another row or two to be comfortable getting around the chairs.
