I actually impressed myself this time. I knocked most of it down with a 120 grit sand sheet and to my amazement just needed another little light coating. The inside corners required more, but the whole thing turned out better than I thought. Of course with the high humidity what I put down yesterday is still slightly "wet" :annoyed:

Nice Job. Based on my limited experience, knocking down those high spots/ridges does wonders. I'm sure that's a problem the "pros" avoid.

Some people have said not to sand before your 3rd coat, but I'm glad I did because I used less compound on that 3rd coat. I also didn't use hot mud for the whole thing like my last drywall job. Easy sand my ass

I only used the hot mud to set the tape and that's it. Still a job I don't want to do again o_O

I've never dared to use the hot mud, even though it would easily reduce the # of trips. I may try it on a small repair one of these days. See if I can do it all in once visit.

I used the 90 minute which have me about about 45ish minutes working time before it started stiffening up. It was rock solid after about 80-90 minutes.

Alex Marquez is living every little brother's nightmare this season. Mark is just toying with him.
The rest of the field has zero chance

Insane. I wonder how much theater is involved? Marc made it look like he was doing his best to keep up, for 18 laps, even getting squirrelly, and then just blows by him with laps remaining...2nd race in a row. So many questions. About the bikes, the relationship between them etc. And me suffering from PMS through it all.

    :annoyed:

Cake first day with the new employer roughing in a 4-unit new build. Owner, another license, and two helpers in addition to myself. Bunch of heathens. Other than the other Journeyman blasting shitty mumble-mouth rap music all fn day, wasn’t bad. I said “got the whitest cheddar, cracker-ass listening to the shittiest rap. How about actual rap if youre forcing this on us- Dre, Wu Tang, Biggie, Snoop” He did for like two songs then back at it. I put ear plugs in and am praying its not a pattern because it legit made my blood pressure spike. Kids these days..

Start blasting some Immortal, Satyricon, or Marduk. That'll teach em.

Or go all out and play Funkadelic
