Saw this one for $75.99 at local store. Are all Kentucky Owls reducing price?

The Takumi Cask came out at $150. Picked up a bottle in NJ around $40 in NJ at the end of last year. Been seeing more and more of that on Kentucky Owl products

I paid $60 for it last April. The guy had about 8 bottles of it on the shelf. Not worth it when you can get a JD SBBP for about that much.

    Real Irish whiskey this time.

Visited it tonight and I have to say it’s not bad. Hard to point a finger on flavor. Not heavy on the oak. Smooth, warm. Cherry on the first sip then disappears.

Description says perfect balance of grains and oak. :notsure:

BT goes for 28$ here and this was 32$. So on that scale it’s worth the money to try out.

I’m always trying new stuff and this was local so gave it a shot.

Regardless I think that would be an awesome gift for your buddy.

Here in Grand Pairie TX, for a meeting and wanted to try something local, what a great tasting bourbon, I definitely would recommend.

BUT!!! I would not recommend the dam "Smoke Heaven" shop i bought this cigar from. I was wondering why it had such a light draw, went to the light and it looked like an apple that's had a worm crawling through it and punched holes all over it!! Kinda ruined my night, definitely ruined my smoke ended up just tossing it....ughhh

Tried a new experiment tonight. 2oz Murray Hill Club, 1 tablespoon of frozen pomegranate seeds lightly crushed, 1 traverse city cherry, with 2 drops of the syrup. It’s like a light old fashioned

Next time I will add a few crushed mint leaves, and a couple of drops of lime juice.

Another good man down! As much as I’d like to say I’m the supreme bourbon alcoholic…crushing bottles by pure will and hate…the truth is I have about twenty bottles with only a few ounces left that I’m finally getting the guts to finish them off.

I haven’t had light whiskey in a few years. I had a pour of this brand a few years back and enjoyed it. Neck pour was hot!! It reminded me of a ramped up Ancient Age. Mild flavors but hot. I let it rest for a bit and it opened up. Lots of sweetness and the heat really mellowed out. Interesting pour, I’m looking forward to my next one. Cheers.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Big thanks to Ramon for the TX to MN express. I've seen one bottle of EHT (over double msrp) in a liquor store here and have never ever seen a Weller. The Eagle Rare was from a previous delivery.20250320_215300.jpg
