16 years. Actually 15, 2020 didn't count. 266.66666666666666 jobs per year. Average of one per day since I don't work weekends or holidays. Not much of a milestone when I look at it that way.:anonymous:
But I do have a lot of free time.

Seeking some answers from all U all. What is the bolt size and thread specs for the Brake line junction (hard line meets hose) holder on the driver side spindle of a 2002 T4R 4WD?

As for bolt extraction I am proposing sourcing the correct size nut and attempt to extract from the backside by turning the nut righty-tighty. As u can C it's a bit rusty though so I foresee failure in my future. I do have bolt extractor bit as next step.

That is a perfect, textbook drill out candidate. Center punch it, spray it, drill it. Heat from the drill bit will prolly cause it to unscrew itself out.
Otherwise, I wouldn't bother with a nut, just vise grip that stub and twist away.

I would just grab some vice grips and spin it out from the back. Or double nut it if there's room.

I think that has a 12mm head, so M8x1.25 bolt. I don't think length matters too much, but I would guess it's 20mm.

@Deathbysnusnu and @Squeaky Penguin - Well, the vise grip method failed to budge the seized broken bolt. So, I just drilled the bolt out. Hole is sitting at 9/32". Good enough to find a bolt and nylon lock nut to hold the brake hose clamp bracket. Besides the ole girl could use a little SAE hardware just to screw with the next owner - whenever that day comes.

Now I'll wait for the new brake hardline #6 to show up at Stevinson's. Then the real fun begins.

After a not so recommended Brake Bleed process (involved using two 2x4s and placing one at front of driver seat and the other applying force on brake pedal after a few pumps) the Ole T4R is On the Road Again. Will do one more Bleed with a helper tomorrow.

I am interested. Just don’t know what’s considered “basic.” After seeing years of your posts I can guarantee you and have vastly diffferent definitions, lol

But not only could I use some help with my truck, I’d love to bring some tools and help with others’ so I can learn more.

Anybody ever registered/titled a homemade trailer in Colorado? If so, how much of a hassle is it and do they look at anything in particular structurally or otherwise when doing the vin inspection? Thinking about buying an untitled homemade trailer but may pass if it’s gonna be a headache.

lol I promise, when it comes to food. I’m as basic as they come. I try to help my lady with our meal prep as much as possible. But the last time I tried to cook unsupervised there was a grease fire . Needless to say, I’m better with a wrench than I am with cooking utensils.

are the any particular projects people are needing to tackle as we get into wheeling season? Inside my shop is small, one lift and that’s really the only bay. We could fit a truck or two outside if people want to tackle stuff at the same time. I’m thinking late May would be the best time for me to schedule this, so if anyone has some stuff they want to tackle feel free to hit me up. Just to be clear, I’m offering to host a day where everyone comes to work on their truck and/or help others work on theirs. I’m not trying to have someone drop their truck off for a day of free work from myself and the other members that decide to come lol (not that I think anyone in this thread would be that way, but you know, CYA). But if there’s people that would like to hang out and enjoy a day of wrenching, or tackle a project they aren’t confident in doing on their own, that’s exactly the idea I have in mind. Tool wise we would be lacking in tire and alignment machines. Basically everything else is available welder/plasma, press/press brake, wheel bearing press/pull tools etc.

I’m definitely interested. I just have some maintenance due soon that I’ll likely tackle at home (fluids and a supercharger belt and oil change). I’d show up to hang out and help out since I’ve been taunting @Madjik_Man to get that 2004 suspension upgraded.

unless someone wants to help me do a transmission flush, filter screen cleaning and refill…

I have a laptop with HpTuners/Techstream and both a HpTuners Dongle as well as a Tactrix dongle if that’s helpful to anyone.

Oh “basic” food lol, I got you.

I can bring a lot of killer food no problem.

Not that I want to freeload but this has been sitting in my bedroom for the past five years because it’s beyond my confidence. But I’d love to work on it with others.

    New coilovers
    New UCAs
    New LCAs

will be buying new leaf packs.

Would love to get this on the truck but also understand that this is probably more than a mod day’s worth.

Which is why I’ve been waiting so long. Once my kid goes off the college I’ll have access to Judas Prius again and if the truck is down for a few days then I won’t be stranded.
