Customer said bore it out to 2" and put a 1/2" key. I said okay but it's going to bust out, they ordered the wrong sprocket and said do it until we can get the right one.

I stopped .015" short on the key depth. Wouldn't be anything left.

Hour 45

 

I don't have any close neighbors, but I live on a busy road. Semi engine brakes are my lullaby

 

We are 1/4 mile up the mountain from the road, jake brakes are about the only thing we hear. We like that

 

They call for Torque to Yield so I already ordered new replacement bolts. I bought a helicoil kit yesterday. We'll see how it goes this weekend. A bunch of fools on the internet were telling me to just run it with 6/8 of the bolts, and I'm not really willing to risk my wife's legs for a quick fix.
