Wiring looms make engine bays so much cleaner these days, but boy howdy they make it a pain to trace electrical issues.

The nearest neighbor is about a 1/4 mile away.
Sound travels funny though, in the winter you can hear them talking (normally) when they are outside.

When i lived in Idaho you could hear people from down in the valley up top hill about 3 miles away like they were next door.

I hear you. But at some point liability laws, legislators, angry citizens (stuck on the beltway), safety statistics and the economic impact of constant gridlock will get us over that hump. The metro areas will hand over manual driving first.

Besides the wirings, the vacuum lines network is a maze if one is not familiar with it. Some cars might still have the readable vacuum line diagram somewhere under the hood would help; if not, a vacuum leak might occurs due to one or two lines came off unexpectedly and plugged them in the wrong port during disassemble. Then another nightmare began...

Set it in the basement, won’t hear much if the windows are double-paned. :anonymous:

Copy/pasta: Generators must always be used outside, never inside, including in the garage, even with doors and windows open. Carbon Monoxide gas is a by-product that is odorless, and tasteless, with no fumes to alert us.

A generator is a great resource and I'm very pleased with my Predator inverter generator. Just be sure to wheel it outside (or leave it covered outside.)
