Shear strength of Ti bolts in common grade, compared to grade 8 steel bolts is about 15% less. Tensile strength is much higher though. I doubt it would effect anything in a serious way, but just something to think about.

This just happened a little over a week ago, the seat is folded in half, the rocker is up against the console tunnel, I don't think the seat bolts will fail in a wreck...

I do it more for aesthetic and weight savings. If I am sheering M8 and M10 Ti bolts, I am likely dead from the impact. I sure do appreciate when folks, that are more knowledgable than me, give sound advice though. Thanks!

Trying out 303 to restore some color back to my faded tonneau cover. Not too bad and I’m not sure how long it’ll last. But it sure beats how it was looking

None yet, starting over!! OME lift w/ Dakars & 885's Remote Start w/ window control
Replaced the plugs & filters (engine air & oil and cabin air) friday night, then had to deal with a hellish brake job over the weekend - I've done pads and rotors before, but I'm (still) in the middle of moving and half my tools aren't at the new house yet, and one of my calipers wouldn't compress which resulted in my first caliper job and brake bleeding effort. Everything came from NAPA cuz my employer has an account there (save for the plugs & oil filters). O² sensor was supposed to get replaced as well to deal with a P0430 code I've had, but the plugs & air filter seem to have taken care of that, so we'll see. Total all in - $530, new knowledge, the satisfaction that I think I can reliably do this again in the future, and that I (hopefully) saved a lot of money doing it myself... plus apparently the girlfriend found it hot that I could do all this myself lol

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
Nice! Sounds like she's a keeper. My wife of nearly 30 years surprises me every now and then by telling me that she finds my ability to back a trailer or parallel park "Hawt".

Wanted at add a switch so installed a hood scoop lightbar. An unnecessary mod but I like it. Next up are in bumper reverse pods which are needed.

Thank you @ITmaD for printing me a left switch panel.

What’d you use for the bar? I’ve been looking at a DD, which I think will fit, for a year or two but there’s also the cheap kit on the jungle that’s pretty enticing for the sake of simplicity

Drove it with the windows down for the first time in months and music up. Goddamn it feels nice to get some weather back that's not covered in a thin layer of salt. Love my truck.

I have a DD 32" hidden bumper lightbar. This was just a fun mod so went with a cheaper Nilight 17" 80W bar and purchased a wiring harness and oem style switch. I've seen a few scoops with the same lightbar and I like that it fills the entire scoop.
