Too broke at the moment to do that. Been spending too much money on the house. I’ll buy the cage in a month or two, and have it installed as soon as it gets here

trailer build is done hahahaha it’s the poorhauler. She will stay as she sits now that I can lock the ramps underneath.

Finished is loosely used, yes it is, but it needs some small stuff. Need a better way to bolt the battery box down, wire management, etc

I think it’ll look better without the filters on it. This is just what the painter sent me

The paint job quality looks really good. Once you get the light housings reinstalled and roof stuff, it’ll look really sharp!!

Take lots of pictures, it’ll never be that clean again.

btw just in case you are not aware - you need to let the paint fully cure before doing any wrap or ppf over it. that could be 30 days, check with your painter or look it up on ppg

yeah no kidding hahaha. I can’t wait to get all the beauty stuff put back on it.

yeah tbh I wasn’t even planning on PPF’ing anything. But it’s not a bad idea, but I’d rather spend that money on the te cage.

Probably makes sense to protect the high wear areas, PPF should add a little bit of protection for the money you've just spent on paint

So this thing truly is desert tan in the sun, but kinda fleshy in the shade.

So random, but this color reminds me so much of a pair of one of my coworkers scrubs they wear all the time. Very light brown/sand colored; and they're fully convinced the scrubs are a shade of pink. So you describing the color as "flesh", I can fully see where they're coming from now, and don't think they're as crazy as I originally thought lol. I hope people don't think your truck is pink :anonymous:

Its gonna look sick with the pretties all bolted up to it. Definitely unique in a good way.

Good practical desert color. I like it.

Plus, your HOA can't complain when it's up on blocks in the front drive because it blends right into the pavers, the landscape and even the exterior color of every house!

WTF am I doing wrong? I cannot get these bolts to start for the door lock cylinders on both sides. I’ve tried swapping them around, loosening the door lock actuators, but they won’t start. It’s off by like 3/16 of an inch

Well the bolt holes for the Baja linkable bar were trashed, so I drilled them out and installed 6 stainless M8 nuts and bolts. Light bar isnt going anywhere.

got the 3rd brake light hooked back up, rear doors reassembled, new weatherstripping on every door.

also annoyed though, because I still can’t get those front door locks bolted down. I shut the door and the captured torx bolt fell down into the door….

Had to order new drip moldings for the roof. I had them glued in and they did not come off in one piece when they came off to get painted.

also annoyed because my improved racing filter block is leaking, they sent me a new rebuild kit for it, and now it’s leaking even worse. Trying to figure out what to do about that. They have a lifetime warranty which is nice though.
