One of the things in the MAC toolbox I bought Saturday was this 13 pc impact driver kit.

    upload_2025-3-19_7-53-12.png

It had several broken bits, one was hung in the 1/4" adapter, I tried to get it out and gave up after breaking the bit.

There is a MAC truck near work on Tuesdays. He was there when I left yesterday so I stopped and showed it to him. He went to his box and got a brand new one and swapped out what was broken with mine, even the 1/4" adapter. No questions ask.

I told him the MAC guy I had been dealing with for years retired. He knew him, I figured he would.

I also have a broken MAC socket and screwdriver, he had to order those and will have them next week :anonymous:

I got the screwdriver on trade and not sure where the socket came from :anonymous::anonymous:

Meanwhile, my Harbor Freight box is getting a little rickety

I do have a couple Snap-On tools. Mainly for when I was working VW's and a Mercedes in the mix. The cheap torx, inverted torx, and triple squares would round out stuff very easy.

I don't have many Snap-On tools. There were some in the box I bought, a few are broken, one of our customers is a Snap-On dealer. I've got the broke stuff in the car :D

My dad has a lot of Snap-On tools and a tool box he bought in the 1970's. The tools still look good and he, my brother, and I all used them. My brother and I have lost several of them when we were younger

This is why we have a carbon monoxide alarm above our furnace/water heater. If anything isn't captured by the exhaust we oughta know.
