It's less Tacoma and more mod
It's probably not forever but they're good while they last. Helps that in the grand scheme of things Eastern WA and North Idaho are sparsely populated.

Something similar happened in the Ozarks with a Jeep guy that published a series of Trails. The Ironic thing is the original trails were initially charted by some guys with Tacomas and Land Cruisers and tried to keep it low key. Today those trails are some of the most littered and overused forest roads in the state with Busch Light and Michelob Ultra cans. We pick up a lot of the trash left behind when we go out on those trails. The sad part is the whole thing became hyper focused on one area of a county that really doesn't provide the best scenery. Us natives cherry pick the best scenery and provide more direct routes that can be enjoyed by most people with mild builds. The really beautiful parts we try to keep secret or on the down low because we don't want to see those areas trashed by the Jeep crowd. I've captured Jeeps from out of state on videos driving in forbidden areas and breaking every Tread Lightly Rule while displaying a sticker.

The most scenic parts of the Ozarks are the easiest to access by vehicle and may be easily found using Google Maps. Parks, Heritage, Tourism, and local counties (businesses), make it a point to make the best scenery easily accessible.

Reminds me of living in NYC with the see New York in 5 Days books. Natives will give directions to get you to the most scenery taking express routes during non-peak times of day.

So when our upstairs HVAC took a dump a few weeks ago, we decided to try and use our home warranty we got with the house and see if it would be covered. They sent out a couple of dudes that looked and acted like they'd rather be anywhere else on earth, which I guess makes sense any company working with a home warranty business is probably getting paid pennies to do it.

anyway they told us the fan motor was fried and the compressor needed replacing, no surprise the home warranty denied covering it. Figured if we were going to pay out of pocket we'd get a company of our choosing to look at it and do the work. Found a recommended one and he came out this morning, said the compressor was fine the wiring was just fucked up. Replaced the fan motor and we're good to go. About $2k cheaper than what the other guys quoted us.

You went with us on some largely unpublished trails. These are the places that we try to preserve and protect.

Oh and we had our first visit from the local yogi bear last night. Let Dex out this AM and found him eating trash that was spread out across the side of the house...he never gets into the trash can and when I looked at it there were big scratches down the side. Our neighbor warned us that in the Spring both our houses get visited quite a bit being on the end of the street closest to the mountain.

Need to get a camera up on that side to get some video of him next time...I have one set up on the other side because I think our crazy neighbor there has been fucking with our sprinkler system but that's another story for another time lol.

Also put in a request for a bear proof trash can with Athens...fuckers are pricey.

Would a transmission from a 3rd gen 4Runner work for the Tacoma?

I knew a stripper with dreadlocks. She smelt like bong water and Bath and Body spray. Cool chick though.
