And then he says “it’s an auto this should be this difficult,” when he’s the one that thought an R150 was an auto and the f made it a manual.

Anyway that guy in Colville seems to still have that gearbox from a 2000 Tacoma, and there’s another one in Kalispell.

I’m working on it, I was just waiting for the weather to get a little better. I thought you said you don’t have room to store it though.

This got me thinking. I'm 46 and the only time I've ever lived on my own alone was when I was 19 and it was only for a month. I don't think my wife has ever lived on her own ever. We married young and are still together but it's rare that I ever have the whole house to myself. Maybe once or twice a year? I sometimes wonder about that small time I was once alone and independent.

She always has to travel 4-6 weeks a year, but the past... 8 months? have been ~5months travel and it has been miserable.

That parts truck is still for sale in Rapid. After four weeks they should be willing to go down on price. Zane keeps the engine as payment, scraps the rest, everybody wins. I wonder if a Tacoma will fit into a u-haul box truck?

That sounds fun. I was dabbling in 3RZ disassembly at the junkyard over the weekend but I didn't get very far before my fear of hantavirus won out.

The mouse nest was over the entire top side of the engine, in between the intake runners, and into the cylinders. It looked like someone pulled the plugs and injectors before letting it sit in a field for a year or more.

    I don't. I tossed a bunch of stuff that wasn't selling when I moved.
I am working on getting this truck. If I do then I will have one.

I have a tank from... I think it was an '01 extra cab. Slightly different design than your older truck but I think it would work.

Can't say I'm stoked to try shipping it, but I'll figure it out if you get everything else sorted and haven't found a tank yet.

It would need a lot of modifications. It has an extra hole on to I believe where the charcoal canister is. Also the filler neck is different.

I've got the matching neck and I don't think the charcoal canister moved to under the bed until 02, I'm pretty sure this truck still had it under the hood. All things to verify though, you're right. It would be easiest to get the "correct" tank.
