Shot a hole in my roof.

    This was a .22 LR. I do not fear guns. I respect them to the max. I am 100% comfortable with them. I know which are chambered and which aren’t. That being said, accidents can still happen, especially when specific safety protocols (trigger guard) are compromised. I posted for help with the wiring and because I knew it would be a good laugh. The wires that I spliced run to the microphone directly above drivers head. Plus a gray wire that runs to the dome light in the middle of the cab.

    I sent several Police vehicles to the body shop during my 30 year career as a Fleet Maintenance manager to have this type of repair completed.

    Now maybe I can help (unlike some other on here).

    Step 1. - Have you checked the 7.5A Dome Fuse?

    As for the the bare wire, it's likely part of the signal ground for the microphone.

    I did check the fuses. I will check again. All of the microphone/bluetooth systems work. I must be missing something. I only made temporary repairs to the wires because the headliner was only partially down. I will inspect much deeper.

    For the record, I love all the comments. I find them all hilarious. I bought this truck brand new and it’s paid off in 2 months. Absolutely love it. I feel welcome here lol.
