1Up? I'm not sure we're you're seeing rubber and plastic.

They're actually a solid, US-made, repairable product. Most parts are extruded or machined aluminum, with stainless hardware. You can build one of their racks entirely from their spare parts catalog. Lots of people consider them the best for bike racks, although some patent expired a few years ago and there are a ton of lookalikes now.

But bikes have been made with exclusively metric hardware for 50 years and cars have been built with primarily metric hardware for what, 30 years? Everybody riding a bike has a 5mm hex key nearby, and everybody working on cars has a 12mm socket, but if I want to tighten the 1-1/4 to 2" adapter on my rack, I need to find a 1/4" hex key and if I want to adjust my rack for a different wheel size I need a 1/2" socket. C'mon guys.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Working on '90s Jeeps is easily the worst experience I've ever had working on vehicles. Because it's right in the middle of their switch over from SAE to metric and half the shit is one or the other and you never know what's what.

Haha, I have a friend with an XJ and I asked him about that after it occurred to me that he had an AMC engine with an Aisin transmission.

"Do you need a metric or standard tool set to work on that?"

    "It depends..."

I hated wearing a cage until I got nailed in the face with a roller hockey puck. Like you said, thank God it's not an ice hockey puck I would have lost teeth for sure. It did leave a nice scar and freaked out of Monica.

This would be perfect for all the yard work I've got coming up if only the exhaust didn't hang so low. 485596363_9343820052322344_1589701330333_51eae4130d1e5124b26f6efadd2b7e44e756ecf9.jpg484962777_9343774958993520_4802559315489_65de803ead94b4fa881f301afb08359eb2fad7eb.jpg485660414_9343774612326888_7962013716980_aea5f1ffc0161b5d76f0a679aeb421a5ea4c6b41.jpg

What has TW become if we're out here giving sound financial advice to people instead of telling them how best to blow all their money

...like the typical "I'm in high school" poster is listening to any advice they're getting in the first place?

The wind is the highest that I've seen this side of Oklahoma. Fires are out of control. Landmarks are burning.

Should I go with a Vyper style backrest?

    Screenshot 2025-03-19 190721.png

The mock up I cut out earlier, realized I won't need the center bolt holes and I can just bend this up all out of one piece on the press brake.

    I missed HOCKEY talk!!! lol.

We didn't take last over the weekend at the Irish Cup -- we took 3rd out of 4 teams; but we were deff the lowest team there. The team we beat was a surprise for both of us and was really nice for a 7AM game. lol.

League started Monday after and I subbed for the second game after playing 8v8 for our game. lol. Today I finally got a run in.

Purchased on Feb 09, 2020 from McGeorge -- Now Ourisman. Price increase of $8.16 -- Was offset by free Shipping during the 25% off + Free Shipping sale --

The McGeorge Order shipping would be a minimum of $20 for those times alone. So, 5 years later, I bought the same parts at the same price.
