@MTgirl I definitely do get a bit of a mental break from job hunting when I drop in here. And I know so many of you all are, and have been keeping my wife and I in yur thoughts and prayers, which means the world to me. And I do realize that "you" all don't bombard me with asking for updates every day, out of respect, which also means a lot to me. I will always post an update when anyone does ask, but I ty not to just post when I don't have anything really positive to share, as I don't want to come across like an attention seeker :)

Thank you ALL, once again :)

For what it's worth, I had an initial interview with an HR person yesterday afternoon, am hoping it will at least get me to a hiring manager to interview with next. And, another company's HR person reached out yesterday to schedule an initial interview with me. So I am still occasionally getting nibbles. Just need to land one of these fish and get it in the boat!!

Hope everyone enjoyed a safe and fun St. Patrick's Day on Monday.

Ours starts tapering off about then. Our spring only lasts about 9 days it goes from what a nice day to turn the AC on full blast.

Most of our rivers are open all year. The trophy waters are closed most of the winter months, let them rest and breed. I like going the end of April, less people.

Sorry you're having to go through this, I'm sure it's rough on you and your wife.

Something else you may want to consider vs the bankruptcy would be talking to your mortgage holder to see if you can sell the house if they are will to accept a "Short Sale without recourse" in leu of foreclosure/bankruptcy. It was somewhat common for banks to be agreeable to accept short sales 10-15 years ago. If you could manage that it would be much less expensive and less destructive to you financially than bankruptcy. I'd at least discuss it with the attorney to see what they think given the overall situation.

I’m getting there, need some sort of a bed mat, then an air mattress. Quite a bit of storage under the front of the platform . Need some sort of hardware to lock the two tops together

What is that white stuff? Flame retardant foam? Devil's Dandruff? It was a stunningly gorgeous day here in South Carolina. Sorry for your Yankee Slush.

A really flat piano type hinge might allow you to lift the front platform to access the storage underneath? May have to round the corners a bit for it to swing fully up.
