Re: Poll. I really want one that say TEERUCK, but not sure if I want to spend the extra $33 a year for a total of $200 for two years registration o_O

That and Pennsylvania is going to be changing its style of plate that they've had since 2001?ish. I've had the same tag on the past 4 trucks and it's going away :pout:

I had one on a convertible mustang I had. DROP TOP. I have it hanging in my building.

$200 for 2 registrations? My 03 Durmax is twice that because of weight :frusty:

    Well I lied, it's an initial $97 fee o_O

Trucks up to 5,000lbs combined are $77 a year or $154 for two years if you choose. I've been registering class 1 for years since I rarely, if ever tow. Your truck might fall under class 4 which is up to 10,000lbs gross since you tow. $262 a year :goingcrazy:

Another reason for me to stick to a smaller truck. A full size would likely fall under class 2 which is $105 a year.

I'll just have to fly under the radar if I do this again :anonymous:

One of our old customers sent me a pic of our old place yesterday with a message that read "your house is gone".

I responded "that wasn't our house, we sold it".

He never said anything else :anonymous:

I was working on a little project yesterday in the sunbeam. A pushbar for the front of this tractor.

    20250319_164729.jpg

Fired up the Lincoln AC 225 and some 6011 rod.

    20250319_164715.jpg

The mounts are bolted to existing holes on the tractor.

    20250319_183417.jpg

Adding 2x6 to the uprights and then some rubber from old mower tires.

    20250319_183417.jpg

The tractor started life as a standard Jacobsen built Ford LGT 165 with a 16HP Kohler K-series engine.

    However...

    20250319_164744.jpg

The previous owner converted it to 36 volt electric using a floor scrubber motor.

    20250319_164736.jpg

The electric motor drives the standard Eaton hydrostatic drive unit, you simply flip the switch and drive it like normal.

With the side covers on it looks stock, when I fire it up people immediately look confused as it only makes a whirring sound like the starter is running.

I saw it advertised and had to have it - it was cheap too!
It was a 300 odd mile round trip to get this one. :D

Came with another parts tractor as well.

The fellow was very interesting, a professional blacksmith by trade, we had a great gab.
He now works at the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester, NY.

My plates are not "personalized" but I do have firefighter plates that I'm eligible to keep the rest of my life since I retired. I'm sure they've kept me from getting pulled over more than once, but I don't drive like an asshole either.
