To exactly no one's surprise, I have NDSU plates.



Unfortunately, SAMPL was already taken.

I may be a pretty much a lazy hack with a "done is better than perfect" standard of workmanship but even I have a bit of pride here.

I sent that to my buddy at powdercoat, he has a tracking app on his box truck and said his employee was there earlier

2006 MINI Cooper S JCW-"MINI USA"

1971 Triumph TR6- "1971 TR6" Doesn't stop people from saying...."Nice car, what year is it?", or "Nice MG, I used to have one like that."

2009 Toyota Tacoma- "SARG-E7" This one is my Dad's truck that I inherited when he passed. He was in the Army for 20 years and retired as an E7. SARGE was already taken so the plate is my take on adding Sarge and his rank, E7. Some will know what the plate means, others need an explanation. The plate is a "Support the Troops" plate. Seemed fitting. Plus the truck is green.

 

Iowa has had these for a few years.. they look super nice. They cost a little extra, but that extra money goes straight to the road work budget which I'm ok supporting.
