What lift do they have, and what are you looking to get for them?

I use this method. I find it less sketchy then using spring compressors.

I know @Norilsk has a sprint compressor and @MaverickT883 is getting the club one. The method shared by @jordi992 works and there are a bunch of write ups on it.

Hope you are doing well! And I think @Trdtacosauce had a guy in the Stratford area he was going to get his shocks rebuilt by.

I ordered the 35101 replacement ball joints. I'm just going to swap out the ball joints, not replacing the UCA's.

I've compressed my own springs several times and haven't felt scared, per se. I don't think you can even rent them anymore but the rentals ones were pretty scary

I’m dealing with a different guy out Claremont way. Dropping off my stuff this him this weekend.
He rebuilds mostly powersports shocks but he’s got automotive suspension background. Will report back how the work was.

There is d3 off-road but I I have heard he is pretty pricey. Apparently good work but for our shocks, not entirely worth it since the rebuild is almost more then the shocks from what I gathered.

Yeah, D3-Offroad is the only shop I found, but as you said the price was more than I wanted to pay. He actually told me that he doesn't recommend rebuilding my shocks and suggested I buy some 2.5's with resis instead. Not really worth his time I guess.

Can try DIY with a seal kit? Pressurize the shock afterwards with the welding tank.

He does some pretty high end builds so I’m sure he can be a bit more picky.

would need a nitrogen tank I would imagine. Not sure argon/co2 mix would do it. I think the tools, and valving too kinda hinders me from getting into it since I haven’t had to rebuild a set of shocks yet. Will see what happens with the elkas when the time comes. May be $600-700 Id imagine to ship them out and what not. @Norilsk what did you pay again to have yours rebuilt?

^It just needs to be an inert gas (so the shock oil doesn't ignite like diesel). Nitrogen is commonly used because it's cheap. Welding gas works just as well. I've revalved Fox shocks in my Formula SAE days. It's not too bad. Now you have the benefit of YouTube videos.
