Installed a Body Armor Pro Series II rear bumper. It looks good but I couldn’t get it perfectly level. I couldn’t find how to fix it. Not sure if it was on the truck or a weld in the bumper. We are talking 4mm. I will tinker a bit more to see if I can figure it out. Eventually I will put lights.

This weekend I will install a Fox 2.0 coil overs and 2.0 reservoir rears.

He needs to come back as Rix Tuxedo, a classier Rix. Final thing I'll say about Rix, a guy I've never met. Behind his snarky commentary that could punch in any weight class was a guy who knew his stuff and contributed to this forum. Not condoning whatever it was to get him banned, you had to look past what he said, and ask why he said it. More often than not you could see the angle he was coming from. That's my experience anyway. Don't know the guy but I felt like he was that middle aged neighbor who has every tool imaginable, kicks it in his garage all day drinking beer, and gives you schtick about your truck, but deep down likes that you're enthused about your ride.

Great looking truck, if you can't get it level, you might just need to elongate the holes a little, might split the difference and raise one side and lower the other... I could not tell it was unlevel from my laptop...

Did some more work on the cross bar after dinner. Got the water tank brackets made and test mounted, along with my shovel, and hi-lift.
It is quite a bit back heavy with the hi-lift so we will just have to see how it works when mounted in the truck.

No photos but took advantage of the warm weather and did a (fairly) quick exterior cleaning/waxing. Knocked the big stuff off with the garden hose and used Aero Cosmetic Wash Wax All. While vehicle is wet (panel at a time) spray with AC and wipe with damp microfiber towel. Buff dry using orbital buffer with microfiber bonnet and detailing hand cloth. Rinse microfiber applicator between panels. Didn’t think Taco was very dirty but rinse water was black by the time I was done. Used 303 on fender flares, black bumper plastic and wheels. Raining tomorrow so leaving in garage until weather clears up, probably Saturday.

That's pretty much dead on. But he became so predictable that it's what made me chuckle. You just knew what was coming.

I put on new AGP black wheels and Cooper R+T tires, so far really enjoying the look vs the stock Sport wheels!

Check the metal shims that came with it. There's a minor difference on 2 of them, it's hard to notice if you are not comparing all of them side by side. On my initial install I had them installed wrong creating a similar situation to yours. Good luck!

Didn't take much in the way of pictures but I installed an OEM 1in block and bilstein 5125s in the rear. Allows for use of the full travel from the stock springs. Did a quick drive over some speedbumps down the street and the difference really is night and day. Way smoother and less bouncy.

Front suspension is still stock height but its a dclb and they don't have quite as much rake from the factory so I think it looks fine for now. Eventually want to throw some 6112s up front but might cheap out and do 5100s sooner.

Also wanted to note that the 2 metal sleeves that come with the shocks actually have slightly different inside diameters. I think one is metric one is SAE. Most people dont seem to realize this. Of course those and the bushings are too wide for a 3rd gen so I had to machine them down. Also made up brackets to lower the ebrake cables.

Yes, and this, I would assume, might also be a food requiring an 'aquired taste'. What sauce is made from fish guts?

Garum was produced by fermenting fish intestines and other parts, often with herbs and spices, to create a flavorful sauce. Similarly, modern fish sauces are made using a similar fermentation process, yielding a liquid that is rich in flavor and aroma, reminiscent of the garum used in ancient Roman cuisine.

Interesting thought. I thought I could shim the one side to bring it up. This bumper did not come with shims. Nor did it refer to shims during install. I will double check. I did notice washers of different thickness but the washer shouldn’t affect the height of the part based on location above and below mounting point. The bumper is sitting flat on both mounting points. I would be interested in seeing yours if shimmed.

it’s probably a moot point since most people won’t notice. I guess I will run an experiment and see how noticeable before I worry too much.
