Hope the wife get healed quickly. Standing up with a leg problem will tire you out quickly.

Good morning. On non PT days I do two sets of exercises. With the walking a set takes an hour and a half. I also do a small set of leg straighting exercises that take 30 minutes. Then there are hourly exercises that only take about 15 minutes. At the end of the day I am worn out. The walks are really helping out with the recovery program. My wife has me walking after dinner, only about 1200 to 1500 steps, which is a good thing. Fresh air and sunshine is good for me.
Tonight the wife and son are off to a Blake Shelton concert in Baltimore so I am on my own for dinner. There is a strip steak with my name on it for dinner.

No luck at the wife's test procedure, they're sending her to a specialist in Cincinnati, with a bigger/better machine. That's the way this stuff works.. once they have you, they milk it. It's painful for her, but we're locked in, so we wait, keep a positive outlook, stock up on pain patches. We both use them.
Getting old isn't for sissies. It will toughen you up. One day, you wake up, realize it's happening, and you'd better adjust things accordingly.

Spring has sprung. Happy Spring Equinox! Warming trend here up into the 80’s by next week. Time to get off my ass and get some things accomplished. I think my first accomplishment will be to have another cup of coffee:).

Mark: your wife is in my prayers. Hoping the Docs figure out what is happening and put your wife on a path to recovery.

Good morning. Hope Friday is great for everyone. Yesterday's PT was intense and beneficial. My walks have been productive both physically and mentally.

    It's FRIDAY! Good morning!!
Another glorious day of doing nothing (much)...
Basically, if I do some kind of work (other than writing), the next day I am either hurting or worn out.
Yesterday (Thurs.), I replaced a hose bib on the side of the house and washed the golf cart. I did convince the Mrs. to join me in the hot tub, with cocktails, and that was nice. I am almost two months post back surgery... so I can't over do things.
Going to Home Depot to buy a new hose bib allowed me to drive my sweet Tacoma, something I don't do much anymore (sigh).
Oh, some exciting news on my weight loss front; I now fit in a size 32 pants! I was a 38 for years and years. A month or two ago, I bought (at Costco) size 36 and 34 pants. The 36 were also too big, so right to the 34s. Last trip to Costco (Temecula), I took a chance and bought a pair of 32 pants.
    See ya'll later.
