    If you make a bulk payment you’ll save someeeee interest, or that’s how it was when I paid of my last dumb purchase. you won’t save all the interest but it saves you a few $

    yeah for us I think our normal CC rates are like 1.6% or something, but with a company similar to affirm, just in Canada, we had 3 options. Offer 0% financing to the customer, and pay the interest around 7% ourselves, split the interest with the customer and pay like 4% and the customer pays 5%, or offer that the customer pays all the interest, likely around 9% themselves.

    Most margins in the offroad scene are like 15-20% so if we offer either of the first two options, a huge portion of our profits are gone, which is not sustainable when you have actual overhead and employees. Already the 1.6% CC fees are a lot. Our shopify website CC rates are even worse at 2.4% + $0.30, but we don't have any other choice.

    Affirm is as high as 36% interest if someone has shit credit. I refuse to deal with any of that BS.

    Count yourself extremely lucky at a 1.6% card fee too. I’m at like 2.7 for my Quickbooks and Shopify billing. I don’t and won’t eat it though. I will give cash discounts in house.

    Yes, but I would have to pay full amount (with interest) either way so I'll just continue doing payments. If it would eliminate some interest I would but there's really no point

    36% :eek: the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Insane. Though if you're buying things with 36% interest you kind of deserve it I guess.

    I'm on the highest tier platform with Shopify before you go to Shopify plus or whatever it's called, so our rates are a tiny bit better. Im pretty sure our terminal in the shop is around 1.6% but I don't actually know. I haven't looked into that in a couple years.

    My Snap-On Dealer has recently stopped accepting CC payments and is only accepting payments through some APP or cash only. The APP doesn't charge him a fee. I won't download or use those APPs, so its cash only for me when making a payment.

    We just launched a Shopify storefront. Thought I saw an option for people to have whatever 0% shop pay installment stuff. I don’t have personal or business debt (aside from my home mortgage and it’s 2.25% so I can’t bring myself to pay much extra on it) so I’m definitely not footing the bill for someone else’s interest haha guess I need to read the fine print and make sure I’m not getting railed if someone uses that feature, but I don’t remember seeing anything…

    also, had someone want me to ship to Canada. Could not for the life of me figure out how and what was needed to do so. Not sure how economical it would be. Is stuff just hella expensive up there? I own a commercial printing company, not sure if that’s a high priced market for you guys or not. Might be worth me figuring out…

    Surprised that said customer couldn’t find anyone up here to fulfill their needs.

    Shit up here is annoyingly expensive relative to what you guys have.

    I am, too. Couldn’t imagine it’d be worth the hassle/shipping cost, but I don’t know. Any sliver of that working would likely be killed by the tariffs coming up anyways, so I haven’t had it high on my priority list to investigate.

    Feeler for rear shocks so I can make some changes.

    2.5x16” triple bypass kings. Tuned as seen below. Will do a full rebuild before sale if they go so they are fresh for the new owner. Can revalve if you like but I’d recommend against it unless the new application is drastically different.

    $1500 for the pair.

    https://www.instagram.com/reel/DBeYiOZSRyc/?igsh=MXVnemw1OXg2d2dhcA==

    Can pull off the truck, rebuild and be packed for shipment within 48 hours if a deal is made before the end of the month.

    Ludicrously so, with the exchange, freight and mysterious Canadian fees (not GST) things are often twice the price. For example is a OE steering pump, which I can readily find for $265usd (exchange pegs that at $380 cad) on various dealer sites, is listed as $657cad on my go-to parts website.
