I stay away from hot tubs. That was my wife's 70K dollar idea. Never even been in it.

My wife's dumb ass husband didn't want a big shop built....so she found a great way to spend that money.

Man that's a shame. I was just eyeballing a house that was all of 1400 sq ft but it had a 5000 sqft shop on property. Wife didnt like that until I explained that the spare bedroom that contains her closet could theoretically become a two story corner of the shop, turned closet.

Well he did retire 20+ years ago, but he always brought them in the cage, shot them and took it from there, small country butcher shop...

I'm sure the bigger operations (and newer) do it differently...

I'm with you. This cavalier attitude is rampant in society today with people that dismiss their responsibility just because they got away with it this time. There's a fine line at times, but a loaded gun with a faulty trigger guard is one thing... and a loaded gun with a faulty trigger guard and an unintentional fire... and making excuses is crossing the line that was already crossed.

I DO wear my seatbelt everywhere and if I don't stop at a stop sign and there's an accident I don't make excuses for it... I own it.

Yeah…please point me to the part where I made excuses and didn’t own up to it? And I’m sure you do stop completely at all stop signs. My point was we all disregard safety precautions sometimes.

I applaud the op for admitting what happened. SO MANY people use the, "gun just went off" excuse.

The first locker I had at work there was a hole through it from years ago, actually it went through half that row of lockers. .40s&w from an "empty" gun as the story was told to me.

No one was hurt, so its a cheap lesson in safety.

This one is a little tame but usually ends up in a dumpster fire personal insults start flying and MODs stepping in banning people and or deleting posts and eventually locking the thread. Usually on a Friday

I moved to the mountains, so I have to clear bush to see 100yards, but this one, while inexpensive, was fun to 800 in the flatlands.
