Hey All! New old Tacoma owner here. I've had my eye on this exact Tacoma for 25 years. My co-worker and close friend was the second owner for the last 27 years. Every time he would talk about selling it, I would tell him to talk to me first. Well, this fall he finally decided that it was time to let it go. It's a 1995 Cobalt Blue Pearl (not purple as I tell repeatedly my wife) 2.7, automatic with 190K on it. The clear coat is fading on the roof and there are a few scratches and two small dents on the passenger side where a portable basketball hoop fell into the truck in a storm (previous owner.) This truck has never been offroaded in any manner and our mutual mechanic has been servicing it for the last fifteen years and vouched for the motor. It needed nothing major, but there were many little things that needed mending. That's how I first found out about Tacomaworld - searching the internet about how to fix something or another on the truck. It's already helped me a lot and I appreciate the resource it's already been. Anyway, thanks for the help, and all the future advice as well. PS Truck.jpg DS Truck.jpg front truck.jpg

    That's a lot of patience.

It'll be a good little truck. I'm sure you've carefully checked over the frame for rust, as that's always going to be the #1 issue facing an old Toyota.
Also, make sure those little trim fillers below the headlights are still attached pretty well. The connectors don't age too well, and the metal trim may depart.

Show your wife this pic of what an actual puriple Taco looks like 1998-99 only. Mystic Purple Pearl. They didn't sell many.

I'll show her the purple. It's an Oregon truck and the frame is solid. I've had the grill off recently when I installed new headlights and radiator. The pieces under the headlights are secure, thanks for the heads up. 20 years ago I was thinking it would be a good car for one of my kids. Now it's a 4th car that I bought because I've liked it forever
    and the price was right.

Welcome! Beautiful truck! I'm biased but 95.5'-97' were the best looking.
