HAPPY SUNNY MONDAY! Damn this weather makes me want to go out for a run in the hills but I just shined up the FJ last night. Can't win!

I hear ya man, I was torn between getting a WRX or the taco when I had to replace the 08. In the end, the taco is more useful so... it won out.

On a sidenote, I totally unintentionally did a perfect drift on Skyline Saturday (in the loose gravel section). Yea, handling is a bit different and... I must say MT tires aren't the best loose gravel tires lol.

Seriously, I wish I had the gopro on lolz. Though actually I did see Amaes do it in AZ behind me once. If he would have held it, it would have been absolutely perfect but he overcorrected (since he didn't expect it at all lol) and ruined a great drift haha.

It's gunna be kinda hard to get used to no sway bar... kinda tempted to make a redesigned quick disconnect one or something but eh, just need to get practice.

That's a dead end path, my friend, unless you want to do all the work yourself or have all the contacts.

Torqued it down to 90 ft-lbs and lock tight or lock right it down..drove around for a bit and re checked it..still good. Sucks I rub in front now with a full turn.

Nope no body mount chop. Was thinking about cranking the coils up a bit since I know they have sagged a bit since adding the bumper back in August.

You should do the chop. Easy work with a grinder and cut off wheel. There are guys on the FJ forum that sell the pre cut piece of metal that welds back in place.

Or you can do it like the guy who did it on my truck and just cut it and leave it

Just my $0.02 of course. Your SWB is sick and a little meatier tires would look sick when you have that high clearance bumper. :headbang:

Looks like you have quite a bit of life left on those KM2s though!
