I’d like to change the layout of my CarPlay Home Screen. I cannot for the life of me figure out where CarPlay settings are.

I’ve looked on my iPhone, 14” screen and Owner’s Manual.

Where can I find CarPlay settings???

    Thank you!

About the only thing you can do is move the icons around and that's done in the phone.

Attached is a photo of what I am trying to change. I'd like to have this screen split in half and have Maps on one side and Music on the other. Is there a way to do this????

    Thanks all!

Oh, and one more thing.....looking at the above photo you will notice the song playing is by Van Halen but the photo of the album the song is from is Peter Frampton. Shouldn't the song and album cover be the same???

Only Apple can change that layout. This is the what you see is what you get price you pay as an iphone user. I've never used android so no idea if it's any better. But if the bugs in my Google Home/Nest thermostat system are any indication, I bet it's not. Damn house is always cold even if the Nests are set way high. And my new super efficient European boiler run entirely buy Nest/Google Home cost nearly as my Tacoma!

And if that's Apple Music (looks like) the album cover/song mismatch is typical of Apple bugs of late.

On Android Auto it is a two panel screen and you can choose to make which panel is closest to the the driver, mapping app or music app. Also, you can long press the app icon on the left side app list to make that app the only one showing. It becomes one panel.

yes you can configure it like this. If you look on the left side of the screen, you will see
Yes you can adjust it that way. Click on the car play icon on your screen. Open the maps app and then the Music App. Those apps will show on the left like you see in the image you posted. Click the waffle icon in the bottom left to scroll through the display options. The screen in the image will display the 3 apps you have used last.

That is probably an issue with your music app. open that k song up in apple music on you phone and see if the image is correct. If it is correct on the phone, then it is an issue on the Taco.

I noticed the music app I use with carplay will sometimes confuse the album art also.
