I really need to get my hands on an electric pit bike
my neighbors will thank me and all that extra ride time in the back yard must be worth the investment

Back from a little over 200 miles picking up locations for the GLM Grand Tour. Here's todays haul.

Cressona, PA. Looked like it might have been closed for a while.

Minersville, PA. Not the place I had in mind initially, but that bar was on the wrong side of the street so while circling the block to get the proper position for a photo I passed this place. The name was too fun to pass up.

Mahanoy City, PA in the coal mining regions. The bar and adjoining restaurant are both closed.

Girardville, PA. Once more not what I had planned but it was the same location. I guess it may have changed ownership and then names.

Mount Carmel, PA and Mattucci's Willow Cafe. It's on Willow Street....

Marion Heights, PA and Tower of Pizza. It's the only business in the town and is not on the main street.

Gratz, PA and the Pine Creek Cafe. Oddly enough Pine Creek is nowhere near this place. By this time, you can see it had started raining. Had a few pucker moments reminding me I really want to swap these tires out.

Lykens, PA for Julie's Cafe. Rain was letting up and I could see sunshine in the next direction I need to go.

Millersburg, PA and the Wooden Nickel. Rain has stopped, sun is shining, and roads are dry for my ride home. Total points now sitting at 45.

My 5 year old son rode the PW50 once before today and he did one lap by himself that time. Today he was out there for 2 hours and didn’t want to stop!

My son just turned 16 a few months ago and wants to take the MSF course. He has a xt250. The local place won't take minors, so am checking a place about an hour away. It is ridiculous. Also, I put a used ebay tank on my Klx250, and think I got trash in the carb. Son pulled the carb off, I took all the jetting out and showed him what everything did, cleaned all the passages and jets, put back together and he is reinstalling. In a few more years, your son will be doing this stuff.

That stinks the local place won’t let him take the course.

He was helping me check out the spark plug today. Told him it makes lightning.

Checked the spark plug today and looks like the bike is running lean and it barely had any gap. Set the gap to factory spec. Also discovered the air/fuel mixture screw was screwed all the way in. Backed it out 1 1/2 turns and the idle and lower RPM’s was way better.
Still bogs at full throttle and higher RPMs. Definitely think it’s the main jet at this point.

600ft stock carb. Going to tear into it and see if it has the adjustable needle and what jet it has. Stock jet should be #95 going to order a #98 jet for it.

Stock should be like #70 on those bikes. We just messed with an aftermarket carb last weekend and jetted it to #50 at 3400ft. Seemed way too small but hey, bike runs like a top now lol

Everything I am seeing online. Pilot jet is #35 which should be left alone and the Main jet is #95 that should be swapped out for a #100 but they don’t make the #100 anymore so the #98 is the next best thing

That makes sense at your elevation for sure. I swear stock main was #70 on the PWs, but I’m wrong probably 80% of the time

Oh, I am talking about the Honda CRF80f I just bought! Now I see the confusion. The PW is running great stock

Check to see if they would sign his paperwork when he passes since he is only 16. I took mine in 2011, there was a mom & son taking it together. He passed but the wouldn't sign his paperwork because you have to wait 1 year after getting your car license before getting motorcycle license here in PA. He had to go back & retake it. I feel they should have told him up front before the first class.

g310gs? good looking bike. I’ve always been surprised they haven’t been more popular in the states.
