Good Saturday morning to everyone. Up since 6 and I am wore out before 8. Filled up my 2 week pill holder, cooked a pack of bacon, cooked breakfast, and got myself ready for the day. This was a lot of standing on my feet time. I need to remember to put my phone in my pocket to track steps. The phone is not too accurate but it does give me a number as a reference point.

I did a strip steak for dinner. Today I am firing up the smoker for a whole chicken.

    Good morning all.
Saturday is full of sunshine... the heated swimming pool is 85° and the hot tub is 103°. My wife and I enjoyed it yesterday, once again. Spring is good!
Worked on my VivaBaja.com pages a little. I note changes on this page: https://vivabaja.com/whats-new-at-vivabaja-com/
    Enjoy your weekend!

When you are retired every day is Saturday so I always know what day it is.
When I was working I had a good friend who was retired. He’d call me once a week or so just to chit chat and maybe ask if I wanted to go fishing or something. He never knew what day of the week it was. I could never understand that. Now that I’m retired I completely understand it. I check my calendar once a week or so to see what is planned or scheduled. I rely on my wife to tell me , hey dummy you have a doctors appointment today. Every day is the weekend.

19 weeks to go to retirement. My plans for retirement are to work part time at so.ething I'll enjoy, devote more time to serving my church as I have been considered for deaconship, and work in my woodshop more because that's one of my favorite things to do for fun. Mens fish fry and social gathering at church today. Regular church service tomorrow.

    That’s exciting. Congrats.

At no time in history has such a large group of people been able to “retire” with so much discretionary money and time.
Even the “poor” among us have access to better food and housing than kings of centuries past.

    God bless the USA!

Clandestine criminals replaced with obvious criminals doesn't make anything better.
