They are allowed to drive on CTY Highways so I feel it's only fair that I do.

Organ donor!

 

What’s the plan for that?

 

The organ console?

Currently in my parents garage, my dad is going to start restoration on it after this weekend and when it is completed he'll most likely put it in the conservatory/ our front living room which has an inordinate amount of excellent instruments in it that are all playable and do get played.

Recently disassembled the last organ console that was donated to him as it was melting electronics when turned on and was basically a 110-year-old fire hazard.

Edit: He will also be upgrading the Organ console to be midi capable so he can run it through modern processors and a modern sound system without having to build an actual organ in the house because that would be ridiculous

 

Super cool. Would love to have something like that some day

There's also the "family piano", a 50 year old upright Yamaha that my grandparents bought new back in the day for my dad and his sisters. Been ours for like.... 30+ years?

 

my brother got our family piano when my dad downsized because he was closer.... also a Yamaha upright, 30 years now? lucky duck. Those are great pianos.

the blonde steinway sounds like a dream. Keep it nice. Those things hold their value better than Tacomas if you treat them right

 

It's due for a new sound board, but that's my parents perogative. I'm just trying to keep the wheels from falling off my trucks lol
