Hi, yesterday I changed the LEDs on my 2006 Tacoma's dashboard from orange to white. Everything was fine until I reconnected the dash. When I reassembled everything, I noticed the rpm and temperature gauges were all the way down. I adjusted them manually, but when I reassembled everything, drove for a while, and then left the truck, when I wanted to use it again, when I opened the door, the gauges started to drop again and then went all the way down. Why is this happening? Have I damaged the cluster? Everything else works correctly. It displays the temperature and rpm correctly when I use it, but they are lower than normal. Thanks.

The guy in this video mentions something he had to do with the needles. Maybe it will help. I'm curious how this turns out for you because I intend on doing gauge work here in the near future. Good luck!

Yeah, follow that tutorial. I've finally solved the problem! It turns out the gauges were incorrectly calibrated. When I assembled everything, I placed them lower than they should have been, and then adjusted them, so they dropped completely when I plugged them in. I simply removed them, put them back in the correct position, and through trial and error, I managed to calibrate them again :)
