It's asparagus season!

 

I had this same thought today!

 

Nothing is better than home canned asparagus.

 

Tired from chores today and fishing yesterday

dinner had to be quick and wholesome. So I made a shrimp and white bean stew.

 

Fresh asparagus

 

If you can get fresh aspargus year round. I can't.

 

I go without. Won't be in session where I live for a couple more months, but we have a few local farms and plenty of seeds have hit the wind that it grows would on the road and trailsides.

 

Grow it… you just keep cutting fresh… what you don’t eat you can pickle or share.
