Car won’t start. Dealership said I needed this replaced. Sent me part numbers: 90980-11973-Toyota housing connector & Toyota 82824-30240 wiring harness connector.

Qouted me $2000, but said they could do 50% off, down to $1000.

Is this worth the price and is it something I could do on my own??

I tried googling that one but can’t find exactly which one. What does that connect to?

I'd have to look and see if I can find what connector that is but it's generally not cost effective to let a dealer replace a harness when most of the time harnesses can be repaired fairly easily but dealers won't generally repair wiring harnesses.

If you could tell us where this is or even better have a picture of it that would be helpful.
