New Cooper Road and Trail tires, and greased the driveshaft, including the 5th zerk.

The tires feel really good on the road so far today, quiet and giving good braking and turning even with 800lbs. of stone in the back. No off-road yet.

Nice cool morning to tackle the intermediate steer shaft woes. Zip ties only made mine worse. Got on toyota parts with a little sale they had goin which turned almost 300 into just over 250

Are you satisfied with the Dr. Colorchip touchup? First time user or experienced user? I am looking to try it my '13 silver streak mica paint.

Powerstop pads and rotors on the DD. Unfortunately 3 of the 8 piston boots are cracked and I looked at another one wrong and it's now torn. Guess I'll be doing new calipers next weekend.
On a side note, I bought one of these little foam pads off of Amazon to give my old man knees a break from the blacktop. Worth every penny.

It worked well and matched perfectly. Especially on small dings like rock chips. I had a bigger area, about 2"X3" as well, and that was difficult. Used rust remover, boeshield rust free, then Dr. ColorChip. Due to how runny it is, it was hard to spread and match the contour of the large spot without wiping the high spot off. Rest worked great

Finally wired up my front/rear anytime camera.

    IMG_2800.jpg

Drove home and backed the truck in. Rear camera was acting funny. Quick diagnosis lead to finding wires at the switching relay damaged from me reinstalling the lower dash panel.
Ordered a new switching relay and I believe I found a better mounting spot for the relay.

A little surface rust grinding and conversion repair on the right apron. Toyota already put a new frame under it but I’d like to keep the body in the best shape realistically possible

    Very nice.
Miss my 04 24v vr6 6 speed. dropped on tien coilovers full awe exhaust. I regret trading it in for my tacoma. Should of kept it and just bought the tacoma. It only had 68k mi on it in 2012 when I bought the tacoma.

Yea I loved the stock wheels it came with. I also had a 99 Wolfsburg 1.8t it was quicker than the vr6 but I actually liked the vr6 better.
