I just use a winch. Actually, I think that was all the winch got used for on the Tacoma. And if my front bumper ever gets here for the 4runner, it'll be used again for the same thing.

    Updated take-off items with pictures:

    - Frameless, auto-dim rearview mirror w/homelink - PnP and works great, selling for $100. (pending for @Tiny's Taco)
    FramelessF.jpg FramelessB.jpg

    - Diode Dynamics SS3 LED Sport fog lights (yellow) with backlight (orange) and extra clear lens covers - there is minor damage to one of the bracket mounts (second pic) but it doesn't affect function/operation, selling for $100. (pending for @quis23)
    SS3.jpg SS3Damage.jpg

Stock items I'm also getting rid of (no pictures for now):

    - TRD Pro tail lights, one of the passenger side bolt tabs is broken but it still holds fine - selling for $40.
    - Stock leaf springs - $50.
    - Stock TRD Off Road Bilstein suspension (front/rear) - $100.
    - Stock UCAs - free.
    - Stock exhaust for DCSB - free.

$100 takes all the stock stuff! The full suspension and exhaust were taken off my Taco at less than 1K miles, the stuff is practically brand new. Should fit both 2nd and 3rd Gen (DCSB for the exhaust).

I'll post these up in the BST (finally) sometime during the next few weeks.

Easily less than 1K miles (probably closer to ~500 miles). I swapped out the suspension on my former Taco within a month of purchase (new) in Hawaii. They are practically brand new.

Had a bit of a scare yesterday with the new house build. Some brush fires broke out around Dunlap and got into the trees. First started about 130 pm at 15 acres. By 2 it was 40, and 4 it was 300 with more spot fires. One of those was a half mile from our house and we were down wind. Fortunately our builder was there to keep an eye on things and cut a couple of fire breaks around the house. There was some damage, not sure how much to a miniature train system done the street. Chemical drops from tankers out of MD & FL, and a helicopter making water drops were used as well 9 local mutual aide fire companies. Our threat was extinguished about and the last truck left 1030. And then about .5" of rain. Still one active fire that's about 50% contained and not near us. Headed down there today, a little ahead of schedule.

We had a 100 acre fire out here in western Loudoun earlier this month. Wind pushed it to within 1/4 mile of the property. It really does suck. Spent most of that day getting neighboring farms' animals loaded out. Realized that my personal evac plans really suck, too.
Almost lost my childhood home to a wildfire. Fire gets me a bit frazzled.

Hope yours stays contained and the rest of the build goes as planned.

The frequency of these east coast fires are getting kind of wild. I'm not sure if it's a social media thing but it seems like there are a lot more the last couple years. I know we've been in a drought here in nova for a couple years straight and I'm kind of wondering if we are heading down the southern california path...
I live over in Purcellville and kept hearing about that fire. I was surprised I couldn't see smoke from it that day. We are in town and are fairly protected from brush around the house but may be worth us starting to think of protecting the house from embers in the event a fire gets close.

What's up all? It's been a few years since I've been in here. Traded my old 08 Taco in on a Tundra awhile back. Just sold the Tundra and bought a low mileage 17 Taco.
