Yep. I love the Tacoma. Best vehicle I've ever had and the perfect road trip car for me as a photographer and also when I play roadie for Gee when she's playing out of town. I actually prefer the Taco to the '88 911 in the garage. Heresy...

Holy snikey batperson...I post a pic of a sax and it cleared the room for a month.

    Not silent, but certainly deadly

Dafuq, no one plays in the winter?

I play my Martin D-28 everyday. I’m up to book 3 of Hal Leonard lessons. Doing bar chords. Not too hard but does hurt the wrist.

Who is this Hal Leonard cat? I'd google him but after the "hurt the wrist" part...I'm...hesitant

Hal Leonard are lesson books. I’m 4 years into my guitar journey. I been taking lessons every other week since I started.

What year is that? Looks like a Platinum? Love bang for buck of C-1's and similar Schecters.

It is a Platinum. Not too sure what year it is though. I bought it used from a local guy. It is near mint and I paid $250. When I brought it into Guitar Center to get a proper tune up and some new strings, multiple employees couldn’t believe I got it that cheap. Definite score.

It’s the same model guitar that’s in this video: https://youtu.be/kiXacmcaJiM

    Been playing.
Gave up on trying to learn online. Started in person lessons.
Been a nice switch up. I told the teacher to just start from ground zero so i can kick some of my bad habits.
Crazy how much more comfortable I’ve been and only a couple lessons in.

All of my guitars are safely tucked away in their cases with humidor packs to try and battle the brutally dry winter here in New England. Both my Guild and Taylor popped a center seam separation which I will now need to address. Acoustic guitars and winter dry air suck, can't ever seem to get ahead of it and still have the luxury to play. Have wall hangers in all my main rooms with a guitar during the summer which makes it easy to sit down and fiddle around for 30 minutes. When they are tucked away in a case it's one extra step to take them out for 30 minutes which unfortunately is enough of a hassle that I'd rather do something else.

Thinking its time to sell off a couple and invest in a rainsong guitar....would rather deal with the carbon fiber 'tinniness' than not play the solid wood guitars and cracks.

Finally have some humidity in the air so the guitars are coming out. Need to file the fret edges of the smaller Taylor GT Urban Ash - only a couple years old but I don't think the eucalyptus fret board will swell back up enough to make the sharp ends disappear. For those that have done it, I am assuming a small metal rasp would work better than sand paper?

Picked up this minty Eppy LP Special recently. 22 model for 3 bills. My first P-90 adventure, 50+ yrs deep. Punches way above the price of admission IMO.

Here's a Taylor 322e recent find. 2014 solid mahogany. Played by a little old lady in on Sunday's (seriously)!

I need to do this. I think I’m going to look into lessons at a local guitar shop(the only one left).

Here's one from a couple of years ago. 2001 Texas Fat Strat. Basically unplayed. A friend was original owner. Original every thing including strings. My son claimed this one. Duncan JB & 2 Texas Specials.PXL_20220730_202901772.MP.jpg

Those grand concert sized bodies are super comfortable to play, especially when slouching back on the sofa. Perfect guitar for the couch professional - really regret selling off my 312 a while ago.
