Storms rolling through here now. The dog is not happy with the thunder.

I like the look of that flooring.

 

I had Fluid Film sprayed before my first winter. It really helps fight the rust.

 

It’s Oberon Day , Bells Beer spring day release of their limited run beer. Big party at the factory/ bar / retail outlet. Never been to it, I guess it’s a big deal. I’ll pick up a six pack at the store when grocery shopping.

Good morning everybody! Mikala’s first day back to school since her surgery I think she’s a little excited. I know the kids are a lot sometimes but I believe she’s missed them a little.

Good morning. Ordered replacement rigging for the boat over the weekend. I’m changing it all out, not just the one that broke. I have to get a scale that checks the tightness of the rigging. No guessing this time.

I caught them in a lie, a while ago I had a leak in the steering system, they told me they had to replace the whole rack system, got the truck back and they charged me for parts and labor for the steering rack. When I finally got under the truck I found that they never removed the skid plate or touched the steering rack, it still has the factory part, they just redid the hoses and charged me for replacement.

This time I removed the skid plate and are having them replace the ac hard lines(they have a nick in them) so they will be in the area.

I told them SA about the false charge, we will see if I ever go back.

That’s such a shame it’s come to stuff like this.
When I was much earlier in my career, we considered it a service and a honor to work on a persons car.
Along the way it went from a service to a business. A money grabbing business. At that time my heart broke.
But the pride in my work never faulted.. so, I struggled till I retired. It’s a new age. Profit over quality.
And so it goes.

 

Neurologist says I still have a brain. I now question his opinion.

License branch looks like Walmart on Christmas eve.
