"Maintenance required soon" message on dash

Once I crossed 4500 miles the dash started blinking this message at me on startup. What maintenance is done by the dealer when you bring it in at 5k miles? I'm at 4700 miles currently and planning on getting an oil change next week by a dealer as it'll be over 5000 miles, is the service light just for the oil change?
I read through the service booklets and recall that there was some other service items that they may do.
Just looking to know some more info before I call a dealer, I am pretty handy so if they're gonna charge me for something that's simple I can just do that part at home. My plan was to get them to do the oil change, look the truck over, and disable the fake engine noise and seatbelt chime so that I don't have to buy a dang carista

 

its just a reminder popup that you reset while parked in the center of your infotainment screen under settings.

 

Yes but I'm more asking what maintenance it signifies? I believe it's just for the oil change right?

 

It's to rotate your tires.

 

Check the owners manual, it tells you.

 

They just rotate your tires and check your engine and cabin air filters at 5000 miles. They usually do the oil change at 10,000 miles. You can get them to do the oil change at 5,000 miles but most dealers here in TN don’t want to do it until 10,000 miles. You about have to force them to change it at 5,000 miles

I did the first oil change myself around 600 miles, but I might try and get them to do a 5000 mile oil change as well just to be on the safe side. Adding in the benefit of getting the engine noise and seatbelt chime disabled I think I'll let the dealer get their service out of me.
I'm trying to do this new vehicle ownership right, my previous car was over 190k miles when I got it, sold it with 245k.

 

They might try to sell you a new truck

I haven't seen RTFM as a response in a while, it's kind of disappointing.

 

I'm glad the driver's floor mat is still of utmost importance in the new generation.

 

correct you gotta tell them specifically that you want your oil change early. otherwise you get a rotation only

 

Too late, he bought a turbo'd 4 cylinder truck, it's already toast.

On phone with local dealership right now, I'm gonna have them do the 5000 mile service WITHOUT the oil change and just do that myself. Then I can get the dealer to at least look at the truck and disable the pesky options. I'll get more professional eyes on it by changing the oil myself because otherwise they "skip" the 5k service
