I shouldn't talk. One of the bikes is a red/silver theme and it's getting Phil and Paul wherever I can stick em.
    Cmon, what a headset

No those are my current bikes. 200mm travel DH ebike and a full rigid gravel bike lmao.

though that trek with the carbon frame and the weird seatpost flex thing is pretty comfy even on ruffer stuff

BTW @Sperrunner my Stumpjumper frame has a CA bicycle license sticker, is that mainly just for theft? We don't have them here, just curious.

Good combo. We don't have hills to bomb or I'd probably go down that rabbit hole haha. A good rigid touring or gravel setup will get you far over here. Some cool rail trails around.

The trek checkpoint is a nice bike. They make a steel frame version too. I have the middle ground carbon one, didn’t see the need of getting the race model.

i like the gravel bike because i can ride road but not be scared if i want to take a short cut down a dirt road or off some stairs

Ah okay, makes sense. We have a bike registration here but I've never done it.

    Previous owner go to UCD?

I ask cause my cousin and I got accepted there, but I opted to join the military.

When I'd go visit him, everyone out there rode bikes and I remember seeing those stickers.

I'm not sure since this was an auction frame. Guessing the licenses work for region and have unique numbering. I might look into it to see if I can find its past life.

Talked to the owner of Locked for a bit once, neat dude. Gotta order parts for those from them direct but he has it all and doesn't charge out the ass for it
