My next project, guy said it had a leak in the axle housing. He wasn’t lying.

Never thought about putting a winch on the tractor but I realize now that I would use on on the tractor more than my taco!!!

I know this topic has been covered some before but spring weather coming to the Northeast has me thinking about tractor projects. Who has hooks or attachment points to the bucket on their tractor? I can think of many times these would be useful, am I correct in assuming they get used a decent amount? Brand or place to buy them? I was thinking safety wise I might stay away from cheap/no-name brands. I recall JUFabworks being mentioned before.

I want hooks for the bucket. A mounting solution for a toolbox behind the seat too. I have plans for some extra lighting this year as well.

Hunting down an oil leak on a commercial Exmark stand up zero turn.

The funny thing about oil leaks, is a little oil goes a long way and makes a hella mess!

I 1st thought the leak was the head gasket for the pumps.

After degreasing the pumps and running the machine for 15 minutes on the bench, I was able to find that the bypass valves were leaking by. A little bit of petroleum resistant Teflon tape and the leaks are gone.

Since these units are so compact, viewing areas that are prone to leaks is difficult.

I wanted to check the input shaft seals on the pumps ( under the pump base). My bore scope was able to see that the seals were not leaking and I could cross that off the list.

It's not difficult to rebuild these pumps, but it is a pain in the ass removing them and it's a hella messy job.

My L3901 had hooks welded to the bucket when I bought it used in March of last year. I've used them with a chain several times to drag stuff.

I just got the weld on bucket hook’s from m Amazon and mounted with 3” heavy angle. Works like a charm if you have the availability to weld

That’s exactly what I’m looking for. Maybe I’m overthinking it by avoiding Amazon cheap sets? I guess I can’t really move a ton of weight with my machine so I should be able to just use some cheap ones without too much trouble.

I went with the discount page because they are going to get messed up. They have been invaluable because I use them so much. Get a look. I drilled and mounted 3 one on each side of the bucket and 1 in the middle. I have a Kubota B7100 with a Kubota B219 FEL.
Got the new toplink yesterday, that was fast.:D

I welded a flat bar on mine for some strength then welded hooks on it, they work great. also added a receiver in the middle and use it to run a chain through when strapping it down to the trailer, and other things too.

You can sometimes pick the weld on hooks up at Northern Tool if you have one around, the Amazon ones are the same thing.

Sure is & it's an absolute savage!

For cleaing brush/trails it's hard to beat. It also makes it a lot easier if your running a bush hog... Haven't had the first briar tangle up.

If you know the ground? You just set it at dirt level in float mode & don't even have to have a hog.

I haven’t tried my piranha bar yet. Since I got it from @virginiamarine all I’ve done is push snow, smooth gravel, and hauled wood to the splitter with the bucket. Now most of that is done I’m ready to do a little digging and trail clearing
