Walked out with da wife this morning...

This isn't fancy photo stuff like some of you pros here do, but it is more what my eyes actually see.

    This makes me happy.

Looking out across the valley & hills from our little place

I contacted case yesterday just to see if I can get a new blade put in my pocket knife. They discontinued my model looks like not long after I bought it sometime in the 90s. It’s hard to imagine I’ve carried something in my pocket 30ish years every day pretty much. It’s not done but it’s into the thicker part and it doesn’t sharpen as easy as it once did. And the tip is exposed a tiny bit. But I really don’t want a new knife unless I can find one of these one more should ride me out. image.jpg image.jpg
I remember the day I bought it at the smoky mountain knife works. I was looking at one of these more modern knives like a Gerber and Mikala stepped in and said that’s ugly. Get this one it’s strange the things you remember and forget why you walked into a room o_O

I have my father’s old Case pocket knife, two blades, black handle. It’s probably older than I am. Have his old Duncan yo yo , I look at them and they bring back some good memories.

I’ve got dad’s old timer pretty much a tool to him so it shows its age. And I also have his and my grandfather’s Masonic rings. I never bought my own when I would go to meetings I would wear my grandfather’s. Now I’m not sure I could get it off if I put it on so it’s in the keepsake drawer.
