Oh I used to worry about that kind of thing at first, but you soon learn that every parent worries about that shit because literally every single kid has their own quirks about getting dressed or wearing shoes, or some other thing. You have to pick and choose your battles lol.

There's one kid in her class that never wears shoes. Shows up shoeless and never puts any on. Another whose name changes every week (this week it's "Sausage"). There's no point in worrying what the other parents think because every kid is an oddball in their own way lol.

As a dude that takes his kid along with him on his errands, concur

Only thing worse than the awkward small talk they attempt to do is the glare you get when the kid is in shorts and it's 70 out - like wtf woman 70 is warm and y'all are wearing sweaters out here

I definitely pull up in the oldest shitbox of a car to drop her off every morning, if anything that's probably what I'm being judged for

I don't expect those comments until I start going gray and losing hair which thankfully is still some years off

Just on my face so far :fingerscrossed: my dad went from his normal self to Gandalf the Gray overnight in his early 50s so that's what I'm basing my future on. Though I think the market crash in 08 coinciding with my parent's divorce probably had something to do with that.

I loved my first gen forester for this reason. The field of view was unmatched. I’d take another one of those if I could grind a rust free one with newer head gaskets.

Not always, hair follicles just be vibin sometimes. I had a friend that was totally salt and pepper in high school, the look worked for him actually. But he was a chill dude.
