What nightmare. New control arms and bison off road hardware. Replaced inner and outer tie rods and boots. Replaced upper control arm bushings and rear leaf spring/ shackle bushings.found a cracked leak spring in the rear. Replaced broken spring. Welded in the marlin crawler gussets. Tried to align it not even close. Tried every option no change to toe. Took everything apart and checked part numbers and inner tie rods sent where for a rwd and not 4wd. Replaced and re aligned perfectly without after market uppers. I am glad I checked over everything and didn’t buy uppers because I would still have the same problem -$1000. Truck drives amazing. Thanks for everyone’s help. Check parts don’t assume.

^Glad you got that figured out. One thing I noticed the YouTube technicians (South Main Auto, Rainman Ray, etc) do often is compare the removed part and new part side by side. It's a good precaution against wrong part received, wrong part mispackaged in correct box, shitty aftermarket part produced with wrong dimensions, etc.

Did you end up installing Altrom SRT-330? Those are slightly beefier than OEM, but will prevent fitment of Dialed Design (nee Warfab) sleeves.

yes used the altrom art-330. They Are the correct ones lol. They are a lot thicker than stock. I quickly checked to see if they thread into my outer tie rods and they sent. I work on ford all day and we don’t have a problem with parts because I look up my own parts. We usually have problems when we see new tape on the boxes lol.

Realistically? It's worth 500 bucks to the right guy. Price at 350 for a quick sale. The paint unfortunately kills the value

I ended up scrapping mine. But I had cut bedsides so not too many people were interested in a hacked bed.

Wrong wheel size... 18" wheels life...
17" cost tripple what 16/18" wheels are suprisingly for Tundra/LC.

Anybody interested in a 2001 4Runner? Located near St Thomas Ontario. Drove it here from Portland Oregon in 2015 and undercoat every winter so very minimal rust to frame and underbody. Back gate was damaged last summer and needs to be replaced. Has about 330,000 miles on it. Religiously did all service requirements and lots of replacement parts like radiator, water pump, fuel pump, timing belt etc. Replaced front end in 2015. Anyway, looking to find it a home. Money less important than it finding its way to somebody who would wanna fix it up or even use it as a parts truck for another 4runner. Thinking $4,000 OBO. If interested please let me know. Thanks!
