What you guys think of just opening all 4 bleeders attached to 3/16-inch or 1/4-inch bleeder hose dropped in 4 buckets. Checking & refilling the master cylinder.

Doesn't work. Get a mighty vac hand help pump if you don't have a helper.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Give it a try. If the pedal is still soft then you'll have to get a helper to foot bleed it with you

    That's an interesting question.
If it would work, you'd definitely want to open the bleeders sequentially, not simultaneously.

I've been successful doing gravity brake bleeds on older Toyotas ( '05 Tundra, '99 4runner, '12 Rav4). Don't know why it wouldn't work on a Tacoma.

Start with the bleeder furthest from the master cylinder,so passenger rear. Do them one at a time and make sure you keep the master full. The closer you get to the master the quicker it drains.

I'd just try to find a helper and do it the normal way. It may end up working but it's slow.

Why do you need to bleed? Just replacing fluid or do you have an air problem?

I have done some of the recommended maintenance: Oil, transmission drip and fill, differential, battery. Haven't done the coolant & break fluid yet. Just came across a video about gravity bleeding. IMO, the guy seems pretty knowledgeable and he is talking the easiest way to bleed the brakes. It's amazing if it works. You don't need anything but time.

Got 75K on it and didn't know that brake fluid should be replaced every 2 years. It's not mentioned in the maintenance guide. Also, don't have a reliable helper.

Every two years is huge overkill.
It would absolutely still test fine under all but the most unusual circumstances.

Yes it will work just fine. And yes you can crack all the bleeders at the same time.

Thank you guys, I am going to get 2 Toyota Dot 3 and copy/follow the guy in the video. The only thing I am going to add is attaching 4 bleeder hoses to direct the drops into buckets. The way I understood, no need for a helper, no pumping the breaks, & no need for any fancy vacuum pump/pressure pump that may not work. Just like watching the paint dry.

^^^ Please read again. I am saying there should be no reason that it would not work on a Tacoma. When I have the need, I will be doing a gravity brake bleed on my truck.
