more thinner leafs rather than fewer thicker leafs. Makes the pack more progressive, and supple at ride height, and ramps up smoother. I also prefer that they use poly bushings instead of the oe style rubber.

Want to update quick. JD called a couple of times when I was on the road. Got some stuff going on but will try to call when I’m done if there is time. If not I will be talking with them tomorrow. I’m just trying to prepare for a lengthy conversation.

I will keep everyone updated on this.

Gimmicky in the sense that you are using it in place of a bypass shock. If you can get a slapper setup in along with a bypass shock then not so much.
Camburg kit would be a step down from what you have.....IMO
I dont have a full engine cage and im bumping off the upper....though the LSK shock tower allows for that. to happen...I do have a cross brace from tower to tower so that helps with the rigidity...plus frame plating.
Shock tuning with the bypass tubes isnt crazy hard to get close...but having a person well versed in it makes it much easier. I start with the rebound fully open...comp tubes halfway in on both. Having air bumps helps because the oring around the shaft allows you to know ho far you are gettin into the bumps in the whoops....if your bottoming out the bump start closing the long comp tube....if its too springy or jumpy(technical terms) start closing the rebound tube, Short comp tube to fine tune the how it feels when your at speed and on top of the whoops. Time consuming but well worth it when you get it right.

Depends on how good the loader operator is.

    But no, that'd be a two-tripper.

While we're on the topic of bumps on the upper arm, what are yalls thoughts on bump stop on the upper bolt of a TC 1st gen kit? I know it's not optimal. It's a 3/4" bolt for reference. I could see the cir-clip shearing. Could weld the slug in to help. Next would be the bolt hopefully bending. Just trying to get the bump off the lower arm. I have seen Matt Helton run it on the bolt, but he has the older style spindles and it is reinforced. His is also 2wd, I will be keeping 4x4.

GEn 3 kit in the lower picture. That bolt runs all the way thru the fabbed spindle and is made to bump.

I would be worried about folding the spindle. If it were a fabbed spindle it would be a different story.

That sounds entirely too expensive and too much effort:rofl:

was hoping for the Amazon special. Wonder if I could just get a cover for a dually or a raptor or something.
