    Hello!

I have a 2025 Tacoma and it comes with a heating steering wheel. The concern is have is that it shuts off after about 7 minutes and doesn't turn back on unless I click it off then on again.
I was going to get it checked since it's only a couple weeks since I purchased the truck but wanted to ask if others have the same issue? Is this normal?

    Thanks!

You buy something with a feature you expect it to work as it is supposed to. You don't seem to be helping, sounds more like a jealous ex.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
    I’ll guess it’s working correctly.

I've had my Limited with the heated steering wheel for 3 weeks. Mine does not automatically turn off. The heated wheel feature is why I traded my 2021 Tacoma for the 2025 :). The warmest areas of the wheel are the 10 and 2 positions.

The 24/25 Tacoma Limited is (I believe) the 1st Tacoma to have the 'full time 4wd' but I have yet to read anyone's experience with it. This is the third time I have asked a Limited driver for feed back on the drive train ….please do tell. :)

I have a knob to turn to choose the mode in my 2025 Limited; 4L, 4H, etc. Years ago we had an Audi A6 with AWD, there were no knobs or buttons to chose another mode.

    Thanks.
Did you by chance drive a previous gen Tacoma? I’m just curious how well that 'full time' system works on and off road with the Limited …I’m not familiar with the Toyota full time 4x4 system. Also curious if there’s some kind of variable torque speed lock system (locker) that might come with it.

I had a 2021 Taco Limited which had 4WD, not AWD. As I said with the Audi which was AWD, there were no knobs to turn in 2WD only. It was always 4WD. I don't know if Toyota has any full time AWD vehicles. With selective drive modes, the 2021 and 2025 one can choose their preferred method such as 2WD, 4WD High, and 4WD Low range. Toyota suggests engaging 4WD High monthly or every few months even on dry roads for short drives mile to keep it happy. As for me, I do no rock climbing and my days of off roading with my beat up pick up are over. Hope this helps and have not confused you.
