So in the 235/85R16 size I'm interested in 3 tires.
I think my mind is made up based off specs and my interest

Duratrac (proven tire for me that I really like)
    31.7 dia
    49 lbs
    $255/tire

    Yokohama Geolander a/t xd
    31.8 dia
    49.17 lbs
    $222/tire

    Cooper Discoverer stronghold a/t
    31.73 dia
    40.22 lbs
    $215/tire

The Strongholds are a good diameter, by far the lightest, and the cheapest.
I've read a detailed review by a TW member, can't recall his name, and other good reviews.
They look like a pretty good tread design to me, but I'm not expert

Good choices, but I don’t have experience with any of those… so I’m not really sure if they are good

Yesss. We can start a TW petition to show support and list reasons why that’s a good idea.

I threw some Cooper Strongholds on my Super Duty after reading that TW review. They have been amazing so far, especially in the snow. We just did a few days in utah and they seemed to be totally at home on slick rock and shale out there. They are a bit louder on road than tires like the Toyo AT3 and Falken AT4W, but they will be similar to Duratracs and Geolander AT XD. I would highly recommend them.

I run Maxxs. They're some of the best off road tires you can get. Until you hit ice. They're good in deep snow, but if you're hitting slushy roads and ice, go with the Falkens.

Having run St Maxx, Stronghold A/T, Falken AT3/W and AT4/W, Toyo AT3, General Grabber AT2 and ATX, MAxxis RAZR AT, and Kenda R/T. I would recommend the ST Maxx or StrongHolds the most. ST Maxx is a better pick if you are concerned about tire strength but for typical use and heavier trucks the Strongholds have a better on road Manners, Off road they will be close but I think the ST Maxx would have a slightly edge in the Mud/Wet rock. The Strongholds blow the ST Maxx out of the water. ST Maxx aren't bad by any means, but the Strongholds are simply amazing, the siping is better and the compound it a bit softer.
