    I haven’t done roadkill that I know of… but roadside gators are a thing here… 18 wheelers are the only ones to survive that very well. It’s like hitting a tree trunk.

    No road assaults, but we hunted rabbit regularly. October/November was perfect as they cut the cane they came out… also found in the nearby woods with dogs (beagles).

    The one i hit was feeding on something dead in the road and was hopping towards the ditch, so i swerved to left to miss it and the dead carcass. Whats the dumbass bird do?? turns around and hops right in to the direction i was going! I heard a thump thump and i look in rearview and see it flopping rolling off into the ditch. It didnt mess anything up on my truck though, just hit bumper. I know i messed it up. Saw its wing all jacked up, prob died later...
